The 3-Step Workflow

Kythia Convert is designed to be as simple as possible while offering immense power. If you decide to open the main user interface (instead of just using the context menu), you will be greeted with a streamlined 3-Step Workflow:

1. Input Tab

This is where everything begins.

• Drag and drop your files or entire folders into this tab.
• You can add thousands of images, videos, and audio files here.
• Kythia Convert will instantly scan and parse all valid media files, ignoring unsupported system files automatically.
• Once your files are loaded, you can preview their metadata (like resolution and file size).

2. Actions Tab

This is the heart of Kythia Convert’s image manipulation engine.

• Here you define what you want to do to the files.
• You can stack multiple actions sequentially. For example:
  1. Add a Brightness adjustment (+20)
  2. Add a Resize action (Max width 1920px)
  3. Add a Watermark text to the bottom right.
• Note: These actions currently only apply to image files. If you have video or audio files in your batch, they will simply bypass the image manipulation steps.

3. Output Tab

The final step before processing.

• Choose your Target Format (e.g., WebP, PNG, MP4).
• Configure output settings like Quality and Destination Folder.
• You can choose to overwrite the original files, save them in the same directory, or output everything to a brand new folder.
• Finally, click Start Processing and watch Kythia Convert’s multithreaded engine fly through your batch in seconds.
